"Contractors Integrated Services LLC" integrates the work force and capital of some Latino contractors to increase their capacity of contracting.Also, they are saving money to purchase houses in South Omaha to rehabilitate for low income people.

Community Investments Opportunities LLC is a venture development organization that brings community leaders in different fields, entrepreneurs, organizations and investors to increase their assets through development and administration of projects.
Midlands Latino Community Development Corporation is a member of CIO. MLCDC created this community organization in September 2010 with the support of the Creighton University Legal Clinic and several business leaders.
Individuals wishing to start or grow their businesses attend a six week intensive training on how to start the business and develop a business plan. Those with a viable business plan continue with one-on-one technical assistance to implement the plan.
This program will be offered at the MLCDC's offices on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. From July 16th to August 22 , 2013 .
Classes are provided, which include: the tools needed to start a licensed child care facility within the community.

MLCDC uses the peer-lending group model to help the start-up of small businesses or to improve and grow existing businesses which do not have access to bank credit.
The Pioneers, has been together for three years and maintains a tightly-knit relationship among its members. At the monthly meetings, members review each other’s loan applications, receive business assistance, and help each other solve common business problems. Practical business training is part of the monthly meeting. MLCDC assists members with marketing, money management, advertising, customer relations and preparing a business plan.

Access to capital is one of the greatest barriers to growth for small Latino businesses. A group of MLCDC’s clients are planning to increase the size of their businesses. MLCDC wants to help, advise and package the best loan program to meet the needs of low income Latino businesses which do not have access to financial institutions. In this meeting, a qualified committee will evaluate loan applications of MLCDC's clients.
Come enjoy and share cultural backgrounds and find out about historical contributions that have been made by the different communities in South Omaha. This program by bus tours showcases South Omaha community to the community in general. People who participate in these tours visit museums, packing companies, restaurants and historical business districts.
